The QV-1 Fly Rod Quiver and Tackle Holdall
Being a keen all round angler I realised that Course Fisherman had something really useful that wasn't available for Fly Anglers, namely a Rod Quiver that would enable them to carry a couple of rods set and ready to go. When fly Fishing I often have two rods with me, typically one for dry fly and one for wet fly. Like a lot of Fly Anglers I like to keep on the move and I often found myself leaving one rod somewhere and having to go back to get it. I also found negotiating obstacles, whilst holding a couple of Fly Rods, difficult to say the least and on one occasion snapped off a rod tip when I slipped on wet rocks whilst out Bass fishing. I tried using a course rod quiver but it didn't really work so I decided to design a dedicated fly rod quiver. After several attempts I arrived at the QV-1 Fly Rod Quiver and Tackle Holdall.
Designed to hold two made up single handed fly rods up to eleven feet long and other essential tackle items, it allows anglers to safely carry their gear whilst keeping their hands free. You can fish one rod using say a dry fly and floating line, with a second set up ready for a quick change to perhaps a sinking line and lure, remaining mobile the whole time.
The QV-1 is at home on the river bank, lake shoreline, out on the flats or afloat. It will reduce the risk of damaging your rods when roaming or getting in and out of a boat.
